Thursday Talent – Emily Forgot

16 Jun

Emily Forgot is a London based illustrator with a really unique style. Her work is playful and surreal, it has overtones of vintage design (check out the legs!) and children’s book illustrations from a bygone era (The General). She is an accomplished printmaker and her work often features colourful and imaginative screenprints. Emily also uses collage techniques to great effect, layering colours and textures to create distinctive scenes. I love her hand-drawn typography as well, again permeated with a great sense of fun.

She has a brilliant blog as well, a great mine of inspiration, and her shop has soooo much good stuff!
